Cutest Pumpkin in the Patch

We went apple picking at Carter's Mountain two times last weekend and I got to play in the pumpkin patch with my matching hat. It was a perfect fall weekend. I loved playing with the pumpkins and beating on them like drums! Daddy and I are going to pick out a great pumpkin to turn into a Jack-O-Lantern!

GAME DAY

35 weeks

I learned to crawl and then very quickly discovered a new trick! At week 35 I learned to pull myself up to standing. Now I stand in my crib and bang on the side until Mommy or Daddy come to get me. Each morning, I stand up and throw my binky onto the floor and bang until Mommy comes in. I always greet her with a big smile!

Life just got really exciting! I started crawling full force on Friday and oh what fun I am having. I didn't know there were so many interesting things that I could get into. I especially love all of daddy's things on his shelves....baseballs, nascar cars, newspapers, but for some reason as soon as I get my hands on them, he takes them from me.

33 weeks old

I turned 33 weeks old today! This week, I have finally decided that food isn't so bad after all. Maybe Mommy and Daddy were right (sshhhhh... don't tell them I said so). I went and visited Grammy Connie and Pappy Larry at Massanutten yesterday and Pappy Larry fed me ice cream and macaroni and cheese. Macaroni and cheese might be a new favorite, but I also love sweet potatoes and squash.

I am still working on my crawling skills, which are getting better each day. I am starting to pull up on things too. Before long I will be able to get to things quicker than Mom and Dad! :)

One of my new favorite foods is avocado...YUM YUM!!

Nothing says NASCAR, like a #3 Dale Earnhardt outfit and a Sunday afternoon nap :).

My newest trick at week 32 is that I have learned how to get to a sitting postion, all by myself. I can go from laying down or crawling to sitting up. This means that when Mommy lays me down for my nap, if I am really quiet, I can sit up and play and she doesn't it..... That is until she comes to check on me and I am playing with my giraffe. I just give her and big smile and then she picks me up! :)

I am also starting to feed myself. I still don't love baby food, but sometimes I give in and let mom win. But I do love to feed myself, mostly with my fingers, not the spoon. Messy,messy thats the best part!

I am still growing so much. I have such a personality, combined with a little temper, but everyone says that comes with the red hair :) Its a good excuse for me..... Mommy and Daddy don't agree. I give kisses, blow raspberries, and babble all day!

One day, Daddy tells me he will take me for a ride on the real PRT

I turned 31 weeks old and outgrew my infant car seat, so I got a new, big girl car seat. I can sit up and see out the windows now! It was perfect for my trip to WV so I could go to the state fair with Nana and Grandpa.

Great Wolf Lodge

We went on a little mini vacation with Grammy, Poppy, Auntie Lexi and Cousin Caleb to the Great Wolf Lodge in Williamsburg, VA. I loved splashing in the water and playing in the little fountains.
