Little Penguins Fan

That was a close one!!! Dad and I just watched Sidney Crosby get the shootout goal winner againt Switzerland. Dad and I love to watch the Penguins when we can. Down here in Charlottesville all we hear about are the Washington Capitals. We don't like that at all. We went to Sam's Club last week and we had our outfits on. A man from Pittsburgh stopped us and was excited to see some Penguins fans here. We are excited about this season too. I think that the Pens will have a good year again and win the Stanley Cup.

Of course I like the Steelers and Pirates too. I hear that the city of Pittsburgh is great.....Dad is always talking about their bridges, stadiums and skyscrapers. But he gets really mad when you talk about Pitt. (And I do too of course!) Ok I am off to bed...... :-)

My 1st Valentine's Day

5 weeks old

I turned 5 weeks old today! I have had an exciting week!

Grammy and Poppy came to visit on Saturday and gave me some extra love.

On Sunday, I celebrated my first Valentine's Day.

Thanks for all the sweet cards from everyone wishing me a Happy 1st Valentine's Day!! Valentine's Day was fun filled as I went to my first church pot luck, my first baby shower, and I watched my 1st Daytona 500. To Daddy's disappoinment, Dale Jr. finished in 2nd place. Maybe next week he will win. Dad is sure I am going to be a Dale Jr. fan!

I continue to grow quickly and have outgrown many of my outfits. Mommy and I had a girls day out shopping so I could get some new clothes. I even got some new lady bug shoes :).

My smile is starting to show up more often. Daddy likes to make me smile Mom keeps trying to get pictures, but I like to make them quick and keep her snapping photos. :)

Lots of snow

All bundled up to go on an adventure in the snow. We lost power for 4 days so we had to go stay with Jim and Kelly so I didn't get cold. We are very thankful to have such great friends!

4 weeks old

I am 4 weeks old.

I am starting to get used to this snow thing. This week I made it through two more snow storms. That makes three snow storms in my 4 short weeks. The last storm made record breaking snowfall for a winter here in Charlottesville. It is very pretty outside but I am looking forward to spring so I can travel to West Virginia and see all my family and friends there! This week I really started watching Mommy and Daddy. I now focus on their faces and watch them as they move around. I smile a lot when they talk to me which makes Mommy and Daddy get all excited. I will make sure Mom and Dad post some pictures from this week!

We had another snow storm here in Virginia, so I slept all day. Sometimes I would wake up and watch the snow.

Me and mommy like to relax and sleep. She is really great and lets me sleep on her too.

My first bottle :)

YAY! I turned 3 weeks old yesterday. I am growing quickly and really starting to watch Mommy and Daddy. I took my first bottle from Daddy yesterday. I loved it and Daddy really enjoyed being able to feed me. My new activity for the week is waking up and talking from 2 - 4:30 in the morning. For some reason Mommy and Daddy have a hard time staying awake with me, so I just talk to myself :).
