32 weeks old

Me --- during nap time :)

My newest trick at week 32 is that I have learned how to get to a sitting postion, all by myself. I can go from laying down or crawling to sitting up. This means that when Mommy lays me down for my nap, if I am really quiet, I can sit up and play and she doesn't it..... That is until she comes to check on me and I am playing with my giraffe. I just give her and big smile and then she picks me up! :)

I am also starting to feed myself. I still don't love baby food, but sometimes I give in and let mom win. But I do love to feed myself, mostly with my fingers, not the spoon. Messy,messy thats the best part!

I am still growing so much. I have such a personality, combined with a little temper, but everyone says that comes with the red hair :) Its a good excuse for me..... Mommy and Daddy don't agree. I give kisses, blow raspberries, and babble all day!

31 weeks old

One day, Daddy tells me he will take me for a ride on the real PRT

( Just a little bit of a bad hair day)

I turned 31 weeks old and outgrew my infant car seat, so I got a new, big girl car seat. I can sit up and see out the windows now! It was perfect for my trip to WV so I could go to the state fair with Nana and Grandpa.

Great Wolf Lodge

We went on a little mini vacation with Grammy, Poppy, Auntie Lexi and Cousin Caleb to the Great Wolf Lodge in Williamsburg, VA. I loved splashing in the water and playing in the little fountains.

7 months old

Yippee!! I turned 7 months old on August 13th and there was no better way to celebrate than in WV. It was just a very quick trip for Daddy's 10 year class reunion, but we were able to make just a few stops along the way. We visited with Nanny and Pappy and I made my first visit to Seneca Rocks.

week 30

Week 30 has come and gone but here are the pictures :). I love to eat my signs so much, that mom decided to just take a picture of the sign and then me.

The other pictures are of daddy and me in my new pajamas that came all the way from Alaska, with Jim and Kelly. :)

29 weeks old

29 WEEKS OLD

I turned 29 weeks old on Wednesday. What fun!!

I am really trying to get the hang of this crawling thing now. I can rock back and forth on my hands and knees, and I can also go backwards, but I haven't quite figured out how to move forward yet. I like to talk lots and my favorite sound is still dadadada. I am also mastering my ability to yell really loud. I am pretty good at it! I can get lots of attention with a good long yell :). Food still is not something I enjoy, but Mom keeps trying anyway. I am hoping soon she will quite trying, but for now I will just keep spitting it out at her.

I hope everyone has enjoyed their summer. We are getting ready for all of Daddy's college students to return in the next couple of weeks, so I guess that means summer is just about over. I know this also means some cooler weather and football. Dad is getting me all ready!!

Weekend in the Mountains of WV :)

These are some pictures from my fun filled weekend in Pocahontas County last weekend. We celebrated Aunt Kinsey's Sweet 16 with a great birthday party and campfire. Then I went to the lake to help Nonnie Donna celebrate her 50th birthday. I also got to spend lots of time playing with my Cousin McKenna. I know we are going to grow up being best of friends!
